SkyTech Oracle – Gaming Computer
- DDR3 RAM runs at 1866Mhz insteads of standard 1600Mhz speed
- SSD storage
- Well matched components for great all-round performance
- Great chassis for airflow
- A standout power supply at 600W!
- Dated chipset
- DDR3 RAM instead of DDR4
By no means a slouch, the Oracle from SkyTech will beat competitors that have a more modern chipset, at a cheaper price and the SSD only serves to boost the responsiveness of both the well matched CPU and GPU. Unless specific features of more modern chipsets are a dealbreaker, the Oracle is still a very strong one.
SkyTech’s Oracle is very compelling as its rocking a whole lot of RAM, 6 CPU cores and blazing SSD storage. Top that with a gaming grade Nvidia GTX 1060 3GB GPU and the Oracle seems set to sail the gaming performance seas at a lower price than much of the competition that offer half the amount of RAM and totally omit solid state storage. In an air flow-oriented chassis, components are cooled by 3 fans so the 95W TDP CPU should stay cool enough not to throttle, although it is recommended to get a better cooler if it does start to downgrade boost clocks due to thermal throttling.
